What are HVAC services?

HVAC stands for Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning. It refers to the different systems used for heating, cooling, and ventilation. These systems also improve indoor air quality and humidity to keep the interior fresh and comfortable in all seasons.
How does HVAC work?
There are several different HVAC systems but they all begin with the same essentials.
The first essential is ventilation. Every home has a source of fresh air intake either within or outside the home. There are two types of ventilation: natural and mechanical.
Natural ventilation, present in most homes, consists of air moving in and out of windows, doors, vents, and other openings. This exchange of air replenishs oxygen and removes odors, carbon dioxide, and excessive moisture.
Mechanical Ventilation uses a mechanical system to move air in and out of your home. This is necessary because modern homes are tightly sealed and natural ventilation is not sufficient. The mechanical system brings air into a air handling unit, where the air is filtered to remove any dirt, dust, allergens, and other particles. Finally, the air is released.
Next, the air is either heated or cooled to meet the desired room temperature. This is where Heating and Air Conditioning is integrated. After reaching room temperature, air is released into the home through a system of ducts.
